Our playroom is a favorite place for the kids. There's a Little Tyke's picnic table where kids can sit to color, look at books, and eat lunches and snacks. We also have a TV set and VCR with several wonderful Disney movies, although TV time is limited to Sesame Street or Blues Clues and an occasional movie a day on rainy or cold days. The best time for a movie seems to be in the late afternoon after all the kids have had a long day of fun and play and are ready to wind down a little before they go home. The kids can play with a variety of age appropriate toys that help them build large and small motor skills. They also learn to share and take turns. The social interaction they get helps them build a lifetime of usefull skills. This room also has (for me) an easy to clean carpet and the diaper changing area. There are also two large windows to let in fresh air and sunshine and also a view to the backyard.
